I used Starfang (there's also a two handed variant, but you can only get one) and Spellweaver (which is restricted to Arcane Warriors only). For mainhand, best depends a bit on attribute spread and enemy type, but for fullsize Starfang and Veshialle are more or less equivalent. Very early game, you could use Edge and Ser Garlen's.
