The group met for a picnic, followed by a tour of the park led by docent, Troy. WebThe Portage Lake Garden Club is currently developing plans for plantings at two "Welcome to Onekama" signs, located on M22, one at the north end of town and the other at the southern end. All plantings will be Michigan native species. The club created and maintains a Butterfly Garden and Memorial Brick Patio situated behind the Farr Center.
